All open workshops include a warm up and cool down, and changing and shower facilities are available on site.
Private dance school workshops are privately arranged with studio principals.
STARTER COURSE FOR ADULTS
1 hour studio practice each week for 6 weeks.
By the end of the course, you will have learnt the basics of ballet and practiced co-ordination, learnt and practiced simple and enjoyable ballet sequences to music, and also learnt some stretches to improve flexibility.
For those adult dancers with ballet experience who would like to develop their skills in a specific area.
Adult workshops are enjoyable, and a great opportunity to meet other practicing dancers in a relaxed and focused learning environment. Duration: 2 hours.
INTERMEDIATE - ADVANCED
Focus on the details of classical ballet technique and improve your execution of the class exercises you already know.
Good technique and understanding of how to apply it will boost your level and help you to avoid injury.
Coaching for all grades, from Pre-Primary to Advanced 2.
Emma has a thorough knowledge of the RAD syllabus and is preparing to become an examiner for the Royal Academy of Dance.
Learn solo and group dances from the classical ballets.
Sessions begin with a narrative overview of the ballet; discussing the characters and placing the dance scenes into context.
At the end of the session, parents & guardians are invited into the the studio to watch.
Creative storytelling workshops. Discover the magic of storytelling through ballet to music from the stage classics. These workshops draw on portraying characters from the ballets seen on stage.
